When does the registration desk open for the 2024 Annual Meeting?

Will there be WiFi available during the meeting?

Yes. WiFi will be available throughout the Baltimore Convention Center.

When is the all-attendee reception?

All USCAP registrants are invited to attend the B’more Bash on Saturday, March 23 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the Key’s Ballroom and Foyer in the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor, immediately adjacent to the Convention Center. The reception will start immediately after the Maude Abbott lecture.

The Speaker Ready Room is located in the Baltimore Convention Center in room 324 and is open during the following hours:

Can I get a badge for a guest?

A guest is any person who is not a pathologist nor a pathologist-in-training and is accompanying a Full Conference registrant at the Annual Meeting. To receive a daily pass for your guest, please stop by the registration desk onsite.

Guests will need to be registered to attend the Welcome Reception on Saturday evening.  The Full Conference registrant can do so when completing their registration and there will be a $30 fee.

What do I do if I lose my badge?

In the event of a lost name badge or tickets, there will be a $25 replacement fee for reprints. Name badges are required for admittance into course sessions and the exhibit hall.

How do I claim credit for the conference?

To claim CME, you must complete an evaluation for each session you attend through the MyUSCAP Dashboard, https://my.uscap.org. Log in through the dashboard and select My Previous Meetings. You will have until September 30, 2024, to claim the credit.

How do I get a Certificate of Participation?

To receive a certificate of attendance, stop by the registration desk during registration hours. After the meeting, visit the MyUSCAP Dashboard, https://my.uscap.org and select My Previous Meetings to download a Certificate of Participation.

Are meals and travel expenses included in the registration fee?

No, USCAP Annual Meeting 2024 registration does not include travel expenses, meals, or hotel accommodations.

Is there an ATM at the convention center?

Yes, the ATM is located on the 300 Level near room 327.

Is cash accepted at the Baltimore Convention Center?

Yes, cash payments are accepted at the concessions inside the Baltimore Convention Center.

What should I do in a medical emergency?

In case of medical emergency please call 911 and notify Public Safety that 911 has been called. Every lobby in the Baltimore Convention Center is equipped with a house phone and the 4-digit number to contact Public Safety is 7055. These phones also have the ability to call 911 emergency dispatches, by simply pressing the numbers 911. The Center’s Public Safety officers monitor all calls from the facility’s landlines and are automatically notified when one is used to dial 911 in order to assume their duties as First Responders. It is imperative that Public Safety is notified after calling 911 in order to respond and to expedite EMS into and out the loading dock.

Is there a lactation room?

Yes, the lactation room is located on the west side of the 300 Level near room 341.

Is there a quiet/prayer room?

The quiet/prayer room is located on the 300 Level in room 306.

Is the Baltimore Convention Center ADA compliant?

Yes, the Baltimore Convenion Center is ADA compliant.

COVID, HEALTH, AND SAFETY

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend the live meeting?

USCAP has implemented measures to provide a safe environment for its event attendees. There is no vaccine requirement, however it is recommended that all USCAP attendees, faculty, staff, and exhibitors are vaccinated against COVID-19. USCAP may change, update, or add to these requirements at any time it deems necessary to best protect the health and safety of attendees and others. Masks are not required but are encouraged.

Will facial masks be required at the USCAP 2024 Annual Meeting?

At this time, masks will not be required, but are encouraged.  Requirements for and use of masks are dictated by and compliant with the current highest standards of public health guidelines established by the State of Maryland or the City of Baltimore.

What other requirements will there be to enter the conference?

USCAP will continue to review the local COVID safety recommendations to ensure the health and safety of individuals entering the conference.

I need a COVID test for travel. Where can I get tested?

POSTER INFORMATION

Where do I find my poster board number?

You can locate your poster board number in your abstract account.

What if someone is in my space?

If a poster is incorrectly mounted on your board, please visit the Poster Information area in the USCAP booth, #733 on the exhibit floor. Please DO NOT REMOVE the poster without USCAP staff assistance.

Can I present my poster/platform virtually?

No, posters and platforms must be presented at the in-person meeting in Baltimore. All presenters are required to pay the General Registration fee for the Annual Meeting. Poster presenters should be at their posters during their scheduled poster session.

Can I download the full text of all abstracts in specific category?

Yes. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Click here to visit the Print Program page.
  2. Select Print by Session
  3. Select all Platform, Poster, and Stowell Orbison sessions under the subcategory. This will be a large file. You can either save as a PDF or print.

ON DEMAND

When and where can I access the on demand content?

Access to the on demand content for the 2024 Annual Meeting will begin on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. You must have either General Registration or On Demand Registration to access the platform. Members will have access to the videos until September 30, 2024 and non-members will have access until May 2, 2024.

Once the platform opens, log in at https://my.uscap.org and click the 2024 Annual Meeting: On Demand Access button.

Are the sessions streamed live at the meeting?

The sessions included with the On Demand content are not live-streamed. The included sessions will be recorded. Access to the on demand recordings will be available beginning April 2, 2024.

Can I claim credit for watching the on demand videos?

Yes, you can claim credit for the 2024 Annual Meeting on demand videos that you watch.

  1. Log in to your dashboard at https://my.uscap.org.
  2. Go to My Previous Meetings
  3. Under USCAP 2024 Annual Meeting, click Claim CME
  4. Complete and evaluation for each session you have watched.

 

How do I print a Certificate of Participation for the On Demand content?

To print a Certificate of Participation for On Demand, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to your dashboard at https://my.uscap.org.
  2. Go to My Previous Meetings
  3. Under USCAP 2024 Annual Meeting, click On-Demand Certificate of Participation

 

Are the ticketed sessions recorded?

The short courses, special courses, hot topics, interactive microscopy, and professional development courses will not be recorded and will only be available as live events with additional ticket purchases. The only exception is that the Long Course will be recorded and available for purchase in the eLearning Center around 60 days after the meeting. It is not included with the on demand content within the annual meeting registration.

How do I add a ticketed session to my On Demand Registration?
